Sound the Sirens is currently looking for additional writers to add to our staff. We seek talented and hard working writers to boost our current content quantity in a few specific areas. We are looking for MOVIE REVIEWERS who enjoy going out to see movies (big, small, Hollywood, French, local) regularly who wish to write movie reviews on a weekly basis. We can occasionally provide passes to early screenings but as of press time, depend heavily on individuals who spend their own time going out to the movies.

We are also in search of a NEWS WRITER who is interested in writing and posting at least one news article every other weekday. We receive stacks and stacks of press releases and seek additional interested parties to sort through and digest the most interesting ones. Writers should be familiar with basic news editing and writing and should be of an investigative mind.

Those interested in becoming RECORD REVIEWERS should also write in as we’ve always got spots open for you. Those interested need to have a solid understanding and appreciation of music from all genres and periods (and no- your extensive Fat Wreck catalogue and/or your history of attending shows at your local dive won't cut it) and must show a depth in music knowledge. We receive plenty of material each month and require additional writers to cover music reviews.
